Work Safe - Safe Work
Developed by Trustmark and the Construction Leadership Council, Work Safe – Safe Work is designed to ensure that we work safely in and around your home and you are safe for us to be around. So how do we work safely together?
Before our teams arrive on site we will need you to be certain that no one in your household has or is showing symptoms of Covid-19 including a continuous cough and loss of smell. We check with our teams daily about their health and how they are feeling and assess their situation.
90% of our work is outside, needing only access to power. If anyone is self-isolating either for being vulnerable or showing symptoms, please let us know. Unless necessary we recommend you communicate directly with our office team on 01202 470044. This will help you reduce face-to-face contact.
In most cases we do not need to enter your home. We will require access to power which can just be a power reel fed through a window or gap. Our teams will always appreciate a cup of tea or coffee. If you feel comfortable putting the kettle on they will be grateful for a warm drink, especially in this colder weather.
If at any point you feel unwell or like you might be showing symptoms, please let our office team know ASAP so we can discuss with our team member and come up with a solution. We personally recommend you keep all contact with the office.
Upon completion we do recommend you walk around with a team member to ensure you are happy with the job, keeping to the social guidelines of 2 meters with faces covered.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is taken via telephone card payment or bank transfer. Invoices are sent electronically unless otherwise requested.
If you develop symptom 14 days after the work had been carried out, please contact our office immediately so we can get in touch with the relevant team members.
