White Cladding Installation - Barton on Sea

Project Background

A couple of years ago, Trevor Stead, a resident of Barton on Sea, noticed that the paint on his home's eaves was peeling and needed some care. He got in touch with us at The Gutter and Cladding Company, and Simon came over to survey the damage and figure out the best solution. Mr Stead was really pleased with what Simon had to say, so he decided to go with us to fix the issue. We got the job done shortly after, and Mr. Stead was happy with how it all turned out.

A few years later, Mr Stead felt it was time to give his home's exterior a refresh. It had gone through two repaints in just sixteen years, partly due to its proximity to the sea, so he decided it was time for a more permanent solution. After exploring several options, he settled on cladding as the best choice.

He remembered the impressive work we did last time, so decided to choose the Gutter and Cladding Company to once again work on his property.

Consultation and Installation

When Simon came out to the property, he brought along brochures and a wide array of colour samples. After some consideration, Mr Stead decided to go with a colour he affectionately refers to as 'Cornish cream' because he felt it suited the unique character of his home.

After the initial consultation, Simon returned and estimated that the installation would take approximately six weeks to two months. Mr Stead was pleased with this timeline and agreed to go ahead. As planned, our installation team arrived on the agreed-upon date and time. We worked diligently and with great care to install the cladding, maintaining a friendly and professional approach throughout the entire process.

Although we encountered some difficulty with the pipework above the garage, we wrapped up the job in just a little over a week. Mr Stead was impressed by the exceptional quality of our work and mentioned he would be happy to have us return for future projects.

Overcoming Potential Concerns

Before installing the cladding, Mr Stead's main concern was the potential impact of scaffolding on his garden's flowers and foliage. We listened to his worries and made a point to work around and protect his plants. As a result, when the project was finished, his garden remained undisturbed and there were no signs of damage.
