Preparing for Covid-19

The outbreak of Covid-19 otherwise known as the Coronavirus has left a lot of the UK in a state of panic and uncertainty. At the Gutter and Cladding Company we are taking on all government guide lines to ensure the correct health and safety procedures are carried out to prevent spread. We understand that having people at your home can be a worry and we endeavour to do our best to answer all your concerns and questions. Below we have compiled a list of our services, how we are preparing and what we will do going forward.

On Site Team:

Our onsite teams are self-sustained, carrying their own equipment and cleaning materials. Occasionally power and ground access maybe required. Other than this, no personal contact will be required with our teams. All information can be relayed via telephone or other digital formats for reduced contact.

Surveys:

Surveys are an important part of creating your quote. We prefer the personal approach so we can walk through the options and discuss your home improvements. However, we do not require personal contact with yourself to carry out a quote. Our surveyor can visually inspect your property and send you a digital quote via email or text. Alternatively, you can email your own photos in for a free quote. info@gutterandcladding.co.uk

Office:

Our office will remain open and the team can be contacted by phone 01202 470044 and email info@gutterandcladding.co.uk. We do request that showroom visits are suspended during this time to reduce risk of contamination.

All teams are carrying gloves and anti-bacterial gel to reduce risk.

I am getting my windows and roof cleaned, do I need to worry?

Our window and roof cleaning teams are completely self-sustained including power and water. The nature of the products they use are anti-bacterial and leave all surfaces clean after visiting.

What will happen if you cannot visit my property?

Unless stated by the government, we will continue to carry out our work. Keeping contact to a minimum and taking all necessary steps. As the situation changes, we will keep you updated to the best of our abilities.

If you personally request that we do not visit, then we will reschedule around you. Please bear in mind that this may set you back until an opening is available.

If the government put us into lockdown we will have to work within the law, we will keep you updated during this process as our office teams can work from home. Until that time, we cannot provide anymore information.

Can I reschedule?

If you would like to reschedule that is fine. We require a minimum of 1-month notice as product need to be postponed. Rescheduling or cancelling could result in fees. Before changing your mind please speak to a member of the team to discuss all options. Also please be aware that the next opening may be a while away and we cannot guarantee your slot.

Through this period, we will endeavour to do our best to get your work completed in the most responsible way. Please bear with us and support us through this time as we have many workers with young families who need our support.
