This week our teams have stayed local working in Bournemouth, and replacing the roofline on this bungalow. Over the course of a week they performed a full rip down of the dated and damaged wooden fascias and soffits and replaced them with brilliant white, uPVC alternatives. In some case it is possible to carry out a “cap over”. A cap over consists of putting uPVC fascias and soffits over good quality wooden or fibre cement fascias and soffits. As a quick fix this work, but it is not very cost effective long term. As you can see from the before photos, wood is very susceptible to rot and will eventually fail.
