Our roofline experts were contacted by a client who owned a bungalow in Kinson, Bournemouth. We were asked to install new fascias, gutters and soffits for the property.
The bungalow needed an exterior update, as it had significant ventilation, damp and condensation problems. These are common problem in bungalows, as the condensation has nowhere to go and recirculates back into the home. It’s especially important to stay on top of damp issues in properties such as this, so we were tasked with improving the fascias and guttering to offer better protection from the elements.
The job took three days to complete in total, as we removed and replaced the entire roofline. We installed Eurocell fascias, which offer not just timeless style but weatherproofing too. These new Eurocell fascias improve energy efficiency in the house by providing insulation, and they’re very easy to maintain, making them both a practical and visually pleasing option for any home.
Installing new guttering to prevent damp
Once the new fascias were installed, we proceeded to replace the gutters with new FloPlast gutters, which offer superior water flow. FloPlast gutters have a long life expectancy and complemented the fascias perfectly.
